Leader ForStaters

Python and Matatzim groups - The ForStart model is all about sustainability and empowering neighborhoods. Thus our program includes developing leadership skills and volunteering back in their communities. Our students go through the process of becoming the teachers in their community. This empowers them as leaders and allows us to spread and reach our final goal of creating equal opportunities to all children in Israel!

Junior ForStarters

groups Python course

In the first year of the program, the students arrive at the university, where computer science students teach them the most common programming language in the high-tech world - Python. We in ForStart acknowledge the role of self efficacy in our ability to face challenges and make decisions regarding our life’s path. Hence, the pedagogy of the program advocates the accumulation of experiences of success in order to strengthen the self efficacy and the possibility to face complex challenges.

Additional activities

In addition to our weekly python classes, we hold additional activities such as: hackathons in fields of entrepreneurship and app development, Arduino tournaments, tours in high-tech companies, guest lectures on emerging technological fields and more!

hi-tech company

Learning groups in a hi-tech company - A special model according to which the Forstart students come physically to the high-tech company in order to study in a prestigious place together with instructors and mentors from the high-tech company. We already started operating in this model with Intel and Fiber.
